Dr. Mark Rubensohn

Dr. Mark Rubensohn has been caring for pets and people in Calgary for more than 20 years. He has postgraduate degrees in Medicine. He also has extensive expertise in Surgical, Emergency, Oncology, Medicine and Obstetrics and a special interest in Greyhounds.. Dr. Rubensohn has been practicing Alternative Veterinary Medicine for over 20 years incorporating Veterinary Acupuncture, Herbal Remedies and Nutritional Management. He is actively involved with students at the new U of C veterinary school as well as with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association.


Dr. Maya Levy

DVM

Dr. Maya Levy DVM qualified as a Veterinarian in 2005 she spent her first 5 years working at a Mixed Animal Clinic in High River where she developed a wide range of Medical and Surgical experience. Hardworking, dedicated and compassionate, she has grown a loyal following of clients at Bridlewood Vet. Dr. Levy enjoys spending quality time with her daughters and pets.


Ashley – Groomer

Ashley is our groomer. With over 15 years of experience, Ashley believes in using a gentle approach to enhance your pets grooming experience. She also grooms and clips cats. Her pets include 3 dogs and 3 cats. Outside of work she is is a busy Mom keeping up with 2 children in competitive sports.


Donna – Office Manager

Donna is our Office Manager and comes to us from the United Kingdom. She spends most of her spare time working on her acreage, looking after her horses, and exploring the local area with her family, exuberant Pointer and Reservation Mutt all kept in their place by her old cat ‘Tabby’.


Torie – Registered Animal Health Technician

Torie is our Registered Animal Health Technologist coming from Olds College. She is born and raised in Calgary but in her spare time (haha) loves to travel the world, climb mountains and go skiing. She is an avid horse lover and has a very cute fat cat at home. Torie will make sure that your pet is well taken care of during their visit to our clinic.


Sarah – Technologist/Assistant/Client Care

Sarah joined the Bridlewood Veterinary Team in July of 2017. She graduated with her Animal Health Technician Diploma in 2011 and in 2014 with her Bachelors of Science. Her biggest passion in life is animals, along with ‘glamping’ in Caroline. In spring of 2018, she got a new puppy named “Gru”, who loves going in to the clinic everyday surrounded by tons of furry friends.


Raija – Client Care Specialist

Raija is the newest member of the Bridlewood team and is currently studying at Robertson’s College to obtain her Veterinary Medical Receptionist Qualification. She is a welcome addition to the team and happy to help with your pet care needs.


Michal – Client Care Specialist

Michal is affectionally know as our “Saturday Girl” – you will most likely see her if you visit the clinic Saturday mornings. Michal has just finished her Bachelor of Science at the U of C and is now joining us on a more regular basis while she decides on her career path. Michal’s furry friend is ‘Victor’ the Cocker Spaniel.
